Nestled in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains, Discovery Roses & Lavender is a small-scale, boutique nursery specializing in own-root roses and unique plants carefully selected for the Pacific Northwest climate. We grow our plants naturally and with intention, because we believe the best gardens begin with healthy, honest roots.
The name "Discovery" says it all. We are inspired by the spirit of exploration, the joy of uncovering something rare and beautiful, and the magic that happens when the right plant finds the right garden. Every visit to our nursery is an invitation to discover something new.
Who We Grow For
We love welcoming garden enthusiasts, floral designers, lavender lovers, photographers, and event planners seeking romantic backdrops and extraordinary blooms. We are also a beloved stop for tourists exploring the Olympic Peninsula and cyclists riding the Olympic Discovery Trail who are looking for a sensory-rich farm experience that lingers long after they leave.
What We Offer
Our nursery carries own-root garden roses, perennials and annuals, lavender plants, cut flowers, lavender bundles, and garden gifts. We also offer seasonal experiences including an Airbnb guesthouse on the farm, Hipcamp stays, tours, workshops, and u-pick events. There is always something blooming here, and always a reason to visit.
A Note on Ordering
We do not ship roses or plants at this time. We are passionate about the in-person experience and helping you find exactly the right plant for your space and micro-climate, walking the rows together, and sending you home with something truly special. Order online and collect your plants right here at the nursery!
