A New Adventure is Blooming, Come Visit Us!

Dear Cherished Customers, Family, and Friends,

We hope this note finds you happy, healthy, and surrounded by beautiful things, preferably roses!

We have some exciting news to share. As many of you know, in November 2024 we said a bittersweet goodbye to the Rosarium Garden in Spokane, WA after 20 wonderful years, with every intention of riding off into retirement. And for a while, that's exactly what we did! We traded our life among the roses for open roads and adventures in the RV, exploring the beautiful Western United States.

But as it turns out, you can take the gardeners out of the garden, but you cannot keep them out for long!

As we traveled, we stumbled upon a charming little farm just outside of Sequim, Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. With the ocean nearby and a community we instantly fell in love with, it felt like the universe was nudging us in a very familiar direction. "Once a rose fan, always a rose fan" and before we knew it, a new adventure was taking root.

We are thrilled to introduce you to Discovery Roses and Lavender Farm!

Our daughter Amy will be leading much of the day-to-day operation, with Terry and I happily involved in a consulting role, which means we get to talk about roses all day. You will find us at the farm this summer, and in the fall we will hit the road again for new adventures, returning refreshed and ready for the next growing season.

At Discovery Roses and Lavender farm, you'll find a wonderful selection of David Austin roses alongside a rich inventory of Hybrid Teas, Floribundas, and Climbers. We have just begun building our new display garden and are thrilled to share that our Rose Arch is complete, and we are already dreaming of another Laburnum Arch in the near future. Sound familiar to any of you who visited us at the Spokane Garden?

To every single one of you who supported us through our years at the Rosarium: THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts! Building a rose nursery has been a labor of love, and we have carried every one of you with us on this journey.

We would absolutely love to see your faces here on the Olympic Peninsula. Come visit us, walk the gardens, and let’s make some new memories together!

With love and gratitude,

Carol & Terry Newcomb
